Pseudogorgon: A Dungeon Denizen for His Majesty the Worm

In the torchlight, you spot the pseudogorgon lurching in a garden of humanoid statues. The serpentine tendrils sprouting from its skull wriggle and writhe. Those foolish or unfortunate enough to get a closer look will discover that what tops the creature’s head is not a tangle of snakes.
It’s a crown of worms.
The Pseudogorgon is a new dungeon denizen for the tarot-based TTRPG His Majesty the Worm, created for the 2024 Worm Jam. This creature offers a parasitic twist on a familiar favorite foe, ready to worm its way into players' minds.
This supplement is an ashcan preview of a larger work. Psuedogorgons are only one of six new creatures featured in the forthcoming bestiary Pretenders to the Worm. That zine will contain a revised text and updated layout, all-new art, and a host of hooks and optional rules to spice up gameplay.
